Hi. I have been using Songview since 3.28.0.172 and it has worked well. I have regularly upgraded it and untill the last upgrede to 4.18.23 it worked well and consistently. Since the last update I noticed the following: 1) I could not delete slides. 2) In show mode the preview pains are not showing. 3) I am no longer able to show alerts 4) When in display mode the extra buttons after "Show" that allow for alerts does not display. This looked really good until I tried to actually use it for a presentation. The file routines seem to be very flaky. I tried saving songlists and playlists and, sometimes it worked but then when I tried loading them again, the program didn't recognize the format. Bizarre! When editing text, as well, buttons like the italic feature, didn't work as expected and had to be pressed several times to get a result. I also found that it crashed on me several times. It's the first program to do that on my Vista laptop since I bought it! The program looks very nice and has lots of good features but, unfortunately, it's just not sufficiently reliable to use in church.

Great program and easy to use, having trouble importing Power Point. Says its not a PP presentation. What format or extension do I need to save my Power Point as? Thanks L

I have just started trialling you program yesterday and have had it throw up an error which has required it to close and restart. Not just once, but several times. If we are to use the program publicly then this sort of thing would be nost embarrassing. In addition, I am having extreme difficulty with import. First it doe not handle text files at all well and finally when I managed to save the file, part of the first verse had disappeared. Second, i can not delete the song from the song list pane, even though i have deleted it from the Songview (ohp) file area. After several hours of trying to import ONE song and having no success I am wondering if the instructions in the help file, which was printed out to make it easier to follow, are incomplete. for example, although the imported files are saved in the Songview folder how do I get them into a list. the list of songs already existing is an ohp file and the one i sort of added also shows as an ohp file, it does not allow me to show the title in the song tree

Is there a bug in the text-file import? I can select a file by clicking the Source File button, but the convert button is still disabled after selecting a file. When it is working: Is it possible to select and convert multiple files?
